Where does Chardonnay come from?
A key component of Champagne and English Sparkling Wine, Chardonnay’s home is the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. While it has been unfashionable in the past, there is a style of Chardonnay to suit everyone.
Taste profile
Head to our near neighbours, Wiston Estate, and taste their incredible English Sparkling Wine or head to Chablis, Burgundy’s outpost, and pick up some Chablis that’s full of zesty flavours and minerality.
If you’d rather have something oaky and creamy then try Burgundy’s Cote de Beaune or Australia’s Margaret River.
