A refined second wine of Ornellaia, blending Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The bouquet is elegant and expressive, with blackberry, plum and red cherry interwoven with cedar, tobacco and spice. The palate is supple yet structured, combining ripe fruit with polished tannins and fresh acidity leading to a long, harmonious finish. Subtle oak ageing adds depth and complexity, giving the wine both approachability and potential to age gracefully.
Created in 1997, Le Serre Nuove reflects the philosophy and precision of Ornellaia while offering a more accessible style in its youth. Crafted from the estate’s younger vines, it embodies the balance of Mediterranean warmth and Bordeaux-inspired elegance that defines Bolgheri.
