Kopke 1980 Colheita Port

An exceptional single-vintage Tawny aged for over four decades in cask. The bouquet is complex and layered, with aromas of dried fig, raisin and orange peel, alongside notes of walnut, caramel, coffee and spice. The palate is silky and concentrated, showing rich dried fruit, toffee and roasted nut flavours balanced by vibrant acidity, leading to an endlessly long, elegant finish.

Founded in 1638, Kopke is the oldest Port house and a benchmark for Colheita style. Renowned for extended cask ageing, the house produces Ports of remarkable depth and refinement. The 1980 Colheita is a superb example, reflecting both the pedigree of the vintage and Kopke’s mastery of long-aged Tawny Port.
