Aromas of heather honey, malt, and soft peat smoke rise from the glass, joined by notes of dried fruit and a touch of sea breeze. The palate is smooth and rounded, with flavours of toffee, gentle spice, and a thread of smoky warmth. Its golden amber colour matches the whisky’s balance of sweetness and subtle coastal character. The finish is medium in length, leaving hints of oak, spice, and faint smoke.

Blended by Ian Macleod Distillers, Isle of Skye 8 Year Old combines a high proportion of Island and Speyside malts with fine grain whisky, all aged for a minimum of eight years. The result is a dram that carries both the honeyed softness of Speyside and the smoky, maritime lift of Island malts. Traditional in style yet distinctive, it offers more depth than many entry-level blends, making it a reliable everyday whisky with a touch of rugged Highland character.
