The palate is smooth and warming, with flavours of fig, raisin, and toffee carried on a velvety texture. Its deep amber colour reflects long ageing in sherry-seasoned casks, while the finish is round, gently sweet, and lingering with notes of spice and oak.
Founded in 1730, Fundador is recognised as Spain’s oldest and most historic Brandy de Jerez producer. Crafted from Airén and Palomino grapes and aged in the solera system, the brandy takes on complexity and richness from casks previously used for sherry. The result is a spirit that combines depth with accessibility, making it both a popular everyday brandy in Spain and a classic introduction to the Brandy de Jerez style.
