From one of the best vintages of the decade, Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée 2018 is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier with stainless steel tank fermentation and 30 months lees-ageing in the bottle before release. In the glass this wine shows a radiant golden hue with a fresh nose of red fruits, spiced ginger and cinnamon. The palate is rich and immediately inviting with white apricot, almond’s and crème pâtissière with nuances of honeydew melon and toast on the finish. Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée 2018 is a brilliant third release from one of Sussex’s top English Sparkling Wine producers. A versatile, food-friendly Sparkling that will pair well with cod and chips or simply enjoyed on it’s own!
“This is all about purity of fruit, with notes of red berries and red apple, almost autumnal, but fresh and elegant at the same time. It’s a rounded and gentle wine that would be a great partner for fish and chips.” – 92 Pts, Decanter
