The name Michel Léon pays homage to the original 19th century founder of the winery, as well as his grandson, who eventually sold it to Arthur Metz. The vineyards are located at the foot of the Vosges Mountains and this really is classic Alsatian Pinot Blanc at its best. An inviting nose of fresh apples and pears, with a hint of melon, follows on to the palate with a really clean and zesty mouthfeel, with wonderfully soft acidity. The fresh, zippy flavours linger, leaving you with a rather long and very satisfying finish.
