Palo Cortado is a fine rare wine. Initially aged under flor to become a Fino or Amontillado, it’s loses its veil of flor and begins ageing oxidatively as an Oloroso. Fernando de Castilla Antique Palo Cortado is on average 30 years old and combines the pure tangy nuttiness of Amontillado with the smooth smoky richness of Oloroso in an elegant complex style with a satisfying, long finish. Perfect with cured meats or hard cheeses such as Manchego or Parmesan – a delight!
