Deep ruby in colour, this 100% Garnacha made from 30 year old vines opens with aromas of ripe black cherry, raspberry, and plum, layered with spice, vanilla, and a touch of liquorice. The palate is generous and smooth, showing dark berry fruit, sweet spice, and cocoa supported by supple tannins. A hint of savoury earth and warm oak lingers on the long, rounded finish, giving both richness and balance.
Produced by Bodegas Aragonesas in Campo de Borja, northern Spain, Aragonia Garnacha Especial showcases old-vine Garnacha grown on stony, windswept slopes. The combination of low yields and continental climate produces wines of concentration and aromatic depth. Aged in oak to enhance texture and spice, this cuvée captures the warmth and generosity of the region’s signature grape — a full-bodied, velvety Garnacha with real personality and charm.
