Warm, generous and immediately inviting, Lianto is a Primitivo built around ripe fruit and easy-going southern Italian charm. The nose is packed with black cherry, blackberry and ripe plum, with touches of violet, liquorice and sweet Mediterranean spice appearing underneath. The palate is plush and rounded, delivering plenty of juicy dark fruit without becoming overly heavy. Soft tannins give it a smooth, supple feel, while a streak of freshness keeps the fruit lively. Hints of cocoa, dried herbs and black pepper emerge towards a warming, fruit-filled finish.
