Ridge East Bench is 100% hand-harvested, estate grown, organic Zinfandel from high atop the bench land that overlooks the Dry Creek Valley. The grapes were crushed and fermented with natural yeast before being aged in air-dried American oak barrels for twelve months (10% new). A terrific Zinfandel, laden full of vibrant, dark fruits; blackberry, boysenberry & raspberry interwoven with liquorice and red pepper notes. This concludes with a lovely long, spice box finish. Quintessentially Ridge, this is lovely now or will age superbly for many years to come!
