Nyetimber 1086 Prestige Cuvée (complete with the iconic metal label) is the result of Eric Heerema’s unique vision and a celebration of the skills of Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs. A first for English Sparkling Wine, this Prestige Cuvée is produced entirely from 100% estate-grown fruit, showcasing the finest hand-selected parcels of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Nyetimber’s West Sussex vineyards. A blend celebrating the elegance and purity of Chardonnay (45%), red fruited notes of Pinot Noir (44%) and the subtle lift of Pinot Meunier (11%). The bouquet is expressive with wild strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant, layered with notes of rose, brioche and subtle spice. The palate is rich yet refined, combining juicy red fruit with vibrant acidity and fine bubbles that lead into a long, elegant finish. Extended lees ageing adds depth and complexity, giving the wine poise and remarkable longevity.
