An iconic Alsace Riesling from the legendary Clos Ste Hune vineyard in Hunawihr. The bouquet is complex and precise, with aromas of lime, green apple and white peach, lifted by notes of jasmine, wet stone and subtle spice. The palate is tightly structured and vibrant, combining concentrated fruit with racy acidity and a long, focused finish that promises great longevity.
The Trimbach family has been producing wine in Alsace since 1626 and is recognised worldwide for dry, ageworthy Rieslings. Clos Ste Hune, a 1.67-hectare monopole within the Rosacker Grand Cru, is the jewel of the estate and is considered one of the greatest Rieslings in the world. The 2012 vintage shows both purity and immense ageing potential. The small annual production, 8,000 bottles on average, makes it a precious wine coveted by all Riesling lovers and collectors around the world.
