The finish is long, savoury, and lifted by fine acidity, making it a precise and elegant expression of Syrah.

Jean-Luc Jamet, formerly of Domaine Jamet in Côte-Rôtie, has established his own reputation for Syrah of purity and finesse. Valine, sourced from vines in the northern Rhône outside the Côte-Rôtie appellation, showcases his signature style — fresh, aromatic, and terroir-driven. The cooler 2021 vintage emphasises brightness and peppery spice, resulting in a Syrah that combines accessibility with the hallmark elegance of one of the Rhône’s most respected winemakers.
