Domaine Jean-Noël Gagnard is run and operated by daughter Caroline Lestimé and her husband. This great estate has superb parcels located in Chassagne-Montrachet, Les Caillererts and Bâtard-Montrachet to name but a few. Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Caillerets is made in a traditional way with 18-20 month barrel maturation (1/4 being new oak). A superb Chassagne with textbook richness and complexity, interwoven with precise, linear fruit and minerality. Long and luscious on the finish with silky butter and cream notes. Utterly mesmerising and built for the long-haul.
