Gosset Grand Millésime 2015

Gosset Grand Millésime always blows us away and this years 2015 release is no different. A champagne of perfect balance, elegance and great staying power. Gosset Grand Millésime 2015 is composed of a blend of 59% Pinot Noir and 41% Chardonnay and from Grand and Premier Cru vineyards. In the glass, this wine glows a fine golf-tinged hue with an ever-so-fine mousse. Accents of freshly baked pastries and nougat explode from the glass accompanied with candied orange and mirabelle plums with a faint whiff of pear. The palate conveys excellent tension underpinned with crisp nectarine and yellow peach fruits with a hint of tangy rhubarb. Long-lasting, delicate and utterly delicious!

"The Champagne Gosset Millésime is rich and creamy, with stone-cut-oats porridge, lavish latherings of butter, clotted cream and honey. The fruit is rich with ripe peaches and golden melon, but the wine holds a firm line with masses of texture, and those broad shoulders have regal bearing.
