The palate is smooth and layered, showing flavours of apricot, fig, and toffee balanced by bright citrus and gentle oak. Its deep amber colour reflects the richness of the sherry cask, while the finish is long and harmonious, with notes of walnut, spice, and a subtle saline edge.

Part of Glenmorangie’s cask-finished series, this release spent time maturing in American oak before being refined in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks from Jerez. Known for its delicate balance between Amontillado’s dryness and Oloroso’s richness, Palo Cortado imparts both nutty complexity and lifted aromatics. The result is a Highland single malt that brings together Glenmorangie’s trademark elegance with a distinctive Iberian twist — a whisky of finesse, richness, and individuality.
