Frangelico Liqueur

Inviting on the nose, Frangelico shows aromas of toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, and cocoa, with a hint of coffee and spice. The palate is smooth and sweet, with rich flavours of roasted nuts, caramel, and chocolate carried on a velvety texture. Its deep golden-brown colour reflects the liqueur’s richness, while the finish is long, nutty, and gently warming.

Originating in Piedmont, Italy, Frangelico is made from locally grown hazelnuts, blended with herbs, berries, and spices before being sweetened and aged. Its name and friar-shaped bottle are inspired by the legend of a hermit monk, Fra’ Angelico, said to have created herbal recipes in the 17th century. Today it is enjoyed neat, over ice, in coffee, or as a flavourful addition to cocktails and desserts, prized for its signature hazelnut character.
