Exton Park RB|45 Blanc de Blancs

Beautifully precise and effortlessly elegant, Exton Park RB|45 Blanc de Blancs showcases the finesse and complexity of Chardonnay grown on Hampshire's chalky soils. Delicate aromas of lemon blossom, crisp green apple and white peach are joined by grapefruit zest, toasted brioche and a subtle hint of roasted almond. The palate is wonderfully focused, with a fine, persistent mousse carrying layers of fresh citrus, orchard fruit and gentle pastry richness. There is a lovely tension between the wine's vibrant acidity and its rounded, creamy texture, while touches of lemon curd, hazelnut and chalky minerality bring further depth. The finish is long, clean and beautifully refreshing, leaving a lingering impression of citrus peel, delicate toast and saline freshness.

Produced exclusively from Chardonnay grown at Exton Park's estate in Hampshire's Meon Valley, RB|45 forms part of the winery's distinctive Reserve Blend collection. The estate's south-facing vineyards sit on ancient chalk soils, providing the ideal conditions for producing sparkling wines with natural acidity, elegance and mineral definition. The RB|45 blend brings together carefully selected wines from different harvests, incorporating mature reserve wines to build complexity and consistency while preserving the purity of Chardonnay. The result is a refined and gastronomic Blanc de Blancs, offering the richness and sophistication of extended maturation alongside the freshness that makes English sparkling wine so compelling. An excellent match for oysters, scallops, crab, delicate fish dishes or simply enjoyed as an elegant aperitif.
