Exton Park RB|32 Brut

Fresh, elegant and beautifully expressive, Exton Park RB|32 Brut is a sophisticated example of English sparkling wine, combining vibrant citrus fruit with the depth and complexity that comes from careful blending and extended maturation. Aromas of crisp green apple, ripe pear and lemon zest are complemented by white blossom, toasted brioche and a delicate suggestion of hazelnut. The palate is lively and finely textured, with a persistent, delicate mousse carrying layers of orchard fruit, citrus and subtle pastry notes. Bright acidity brings wonderful precision, while a gentle creaminess adds richness without compromising freshness. The finish is long and beautifully defined, with lingering notes of lemon peel, toasted almond and a distinctive chalky minerality.

Produced at Exton Park's estate in Hampshire's Meon Valley, RB|32 is part of the winery's distinctive Reserve Blend collection, created to showcase the complexity and consistency achievable through the skilful blending of wines from different harvests. The estate's south-facing vineyards are planted on chalk soils that share geological similarities with those of Champagne, providing ideal conditions for growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. The RB|32 blend is Chardonnay-led, bringing together freshness, structure and the richness of carefully matured reserve wines. The result is a beautifully balanced sparkling wine that works equally well as an aperitif or alongside oysters, smoked salmon, shellfish and delicate seafood dishes.
