Rich and full-bodied, this Añejo opens with aromas of caramel, vanilla, and roasted agave, accented by dried fruit, spice, and a touch of chocolate. The palate is smooth and layered, showing flavours of butterscotch, oak, and cooked agave wrapped in a velvety texture. Its warm amber colour reflects 18 months’ ageing in American oak, while the finish is long and elegant, with sweet spice, honey, and lingering oak.

Don Julio González founded his namesake distillery in 1942 with the vision of producing tequila of the highest quality, crafted entirely from 100% blue Weber agave. The Añejo embodies this philosophy, combining traditional distilling methods with careful barrel ageing to achieve both richness and balance. Revered as one of the benchmarks of aged tequila, it is best enjoyed neat or over a large ice cube, offering a refined sipping experience that showcases the harmony of agave and oak.
