Megaphone Rouge 2023

In the glass, Megaphone Rouge shows a vibrant garnet hue with youthful purple reflections. Aromas of black cherry, plum, and wild berries are lifted by notes of garrigue herbs, cracked pepper, and a hint of earth. The palate is supple yet energetic, with juicy dark fruit framed by fine tannins and a bright line of acidity. Flavours of black olive, spice, and a stony minerality carry through to a long, harmonious finish. It’s a wine that balances generosity with elegance, making it approachable now but with the structure to age gracefully.

Megaphone is the second label of the Brunier family, best known for their iconic Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Produced from vines rooted in the stony soils of the Ventoux, the wine reflects both the cooler microclimate of the foothills of Mont Ventoux and the Brunier philosophy of crafting wines with purity, depth, and a sense of place. Blending traditional Rhône varieties, it celebrates the southern Rhône’s heritage while offering a more accessible, everyday expression of the estate’s winemaking traditions.
