A powerful yet refined Pinot Noir from the village of Gevrey-Chambertin. The nose is expressive with dark cherry, blackberry and raspberry, supported by notes of violet, spice and a touch of earth. The palate is structured and concentrated, with layered fruit, firm but polished tannins and a long, mineral-tinged finish.

Based in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Michel Gros has been in the family since the 19th century and is renowned for its elegant yet ageworthy Burgundies. The La Platière cuvée reflects the strength and character of Gevrey-Chambertin while carrying the domaine’s hallmark finesse and precision.
