Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge Domaine Chante Cigale 2021 | Organic

CNDP can feel like a numbers game with the wine playing second fiddle. Cigale are an exception as their wines are brilliant. This is a traditional style composed of 65% Grenache Noir, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvèdre and 5% Cinsault, leading with a peppery, leathery nose. The palate is dry with spices, dark black fruits, more pepper and a hint of vanilla before a delicious, firm finish. Lovely stuff!
