Château Trotanoy 1996 Bordeaux, France, 75cl

Château Trotanoy 1996
Bordeaux, France, 75cl
A beautifully mature Pomerol from one of the appellation’s most revered estates. The bouquet is complex with aromas of dried plum, black cherry and fig, layered with truffle, leather, cedar and earthy spice. The palate is silky and harmonious, showing evolved dark fruit, fine-grained tannins and savoury length. Elegant, poised and fully developed, it displays the depth and refinement of classic Trotanoy.
Château Trotanoy, owned by Jean-Pierre Moueix, is situated on Pomerol’s gravel and clay plateau, where old-vine Merlot dominates. Renowned for producing some of the most powerful and ageworthy wines of the Right Bank, the estate consistently delivers complexity, concentration and longevity.
