Château Rieussec 1995 Bordeaux, France, 75cl

Château Rieussec 1995
Bordeaux, France, 75cl
The 1995 vintage was a good year for Sauternes, marked by favourable weather conditions that encouraged the development of noble rot. A beautifully evolved Sauternes showing both richness and refinement. Aromas of dried apricot, candied orange peel and acacia honey are layered with notes of saffron, almond and toffee. The palate is silky and concentrated, with mature fruit, caramel and spice balanced by lively acidity, leading to a long, harmonious finish.
Château Rieussec, a Premier Cru Classé in the 1855 classification, has long been regarded as one of the great estates of Sauternes. Owned by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1984, the château is renowned for producing powerful, ageworthy wines that combine opulence with elegance.
N.b. please be aware that these bottles have been purchased from a private cellar. Storage conditions were perfect but some bottles do have very minor rack damage to labels. If you require pictures of any bottles before purchase, please use the contact form stating the quantity you would like.
