The second wine of Château la Pointe situated on the classic clay/gravel terroir of the Isle river terrace in Pomerol and a blend of 86% Merlot and 14% Cabernet Franc from the warm 2019 vintage. Hubert de Boüard consults here for both the Grand Vin and this second wine and the style is properly plush and intense with velvet smooth tannins and a long finish.
