Refined and expressive, this wine opens with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, and dark cherry, layered with cedar, tobacco leaf, and gentle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and polished, showing supple dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a fresh, balanced structure. Deep garnet in colour, it finishes smooth and elegant, with lingering notes of cassis and savoury oak.
La Sirène de Giscours is the second wine of Château Giscours in Margaux, crafted from younger vines and parcels that emphasise approachability while retaining Left Bank finesse. The excellent 2017 vintage produced wines of balance and charm, and this cuvée offers classic Margaux elegance with earlier drinking appeal, while still capable of short- to mid-term ageing.
