Château Canon La Gaffeliere 1998 Bordeaux, France, 75cl

Château Canon La Gaffeliere 1998
Bordeaux, France, 75cl
A beautifully mature Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé, showing both depth and elegance. The bouquet reveals black cherry, plum and fig, layered with notes of truffle, tobacco, cedar and spice. The palate is silky and harmonious, with ripe, evolved fruit, fine tannins and a long, savoury finish. Fully developed yet still vibrant, it highlights the balance of the vintage.
Château Canon La Gaffelière, owned by the von Neipperg family, lies at the foot of the Saint-Émilion slope and is renowned for its high Merlot and Cabernet Franc plantings. The estate has built a reputation for producing wines that combine richness with finesse, and the 1998 vintage is a fine example of its longevity and refinement.
