A refined Saint-Julien, blending Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with smaller portions of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The nose is elegant with cassis, blackberry and plum, layered with cedar, graphite and subtle spice. The palate is supple and balanced, showing ripe dark fruit, fine tannins and a fresh, mineral finish.
Amiral de Beychevelle is the second wine of Château Beychevelle, a historic Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint-Julien. First produced in 1973, it is crafted with the same attention to detail as the grand vin, offering earlier approachability while maintaining the château’s hallmark finesse and depth.
