Dating back to Medici Florence in the 1500s, Fattoria di Calappiano is an estate steeped in history. Today it has more than 200 hectares of vines planted alongside woodlands and olive groves situated in this natural heritage site. This is a classic expression of 100% Sangiovese with an aromatic bouquet of soft red fruits following on to a mouthwatering palate showing redcurrants, cherries and plums with a spicy finish that is so often associated with Chianti Classico.
