Deep and refined, this Rioja Reserva opens with aromas of black cherry, blackberry, and plum, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco, vanilla, and sweet spice. The palate is rich and beautifully structured, showing concentrated dark fruit, polished tannins, and fresh acidity that brings balance and elegance. Deep ruby in colour, it finishes long and complex, with lingering notes of cocoa, spice, and savoury oak.
Produced from old-vine fruit in Rioja Alavesa, Selección de la Familia represents one of the flagship wines of Luis Cañas. Carefully selected parcels and extended oak ageing create a wine of depth, precision, and ageing potential.
