Volnay 1er Cru Les Santenots Nudant Jean-René 2018

The Nudant family have been winemakers in Burgundy since 1453. They currently have around 16 hectares of small parcels throughout the Côte d'Or - all of which they work by hand. This wine, from their Santenots vineyard, marries elegance with complexity and concentration perfectly. It is delicate on the palate, with spice, red cherry fruit but has a seriously impressive structure for ageing.
