“Starting with the 2016 vintage, we’ve significantly focused our overall Pinot noir production, relying primarily on the Luminous Hills Vineyard.  That is reflected in the 2016 Willamette Valley Pinot noir, both in production size (down from a high of 987 cases in 2014 to 397 with this release) and source:  this is our first Willamette Valley Pinot noir that is 100% sourced from Luminous Hills Vineyard.  Those changes necessitated a small price increase, but we think you will find it worthy.  Technically, it could be labeled as Yamhill-Carlton and as a Luminous Hills wine, but it’s nice to have a package that under promises and over delivers.  A selection of all 4 clones, 2 soil types, and the various aspects and elevations of Luminous Hills. 397 cases produced.  14.1% alcohol. 20% new French Oak.”
