A wine with great charm, the name says it all! This wine is totally seductive. Les Charmes is located just below the Clos Rousseau 1er cru in Santenay. Planted in 1950, these old vines delve deep into the limestone to draw out rich, supple, silky tannins. A very round wine, with aromas of fresh cherries and a dash of spice. Elegance, the finesse of exquisite fruit, good length on the palate – it’s a beautiful thing.
Domaine Bachey-Legros is an old estate, with a terroir to match. The Bachey family has been working these vineyards and making wine for 6 generations. The estate is now run by brothers Samuel and Lenaic alongside their mother, Christiane.
