Terre Biance Rossese di Dolceacqua 2017
Liguria, Italy, 75cl
The Rossese di Dolceacqua was the first Ligurian wine to get the doc recognition back in 1972. The name derives from the French ‘roché’, which refers to the rocky ground where it’s grown. Rossese vines are cultivated along the typically Ligurian terraces, between 350 and 450 meters above sea level.Ruby red in the glass with a lovely perfumed nose of wild red fruits, earth, spice and cedar wood notes. The palate is powerful, expressing savoury red cherry fruits, chocolate and earth notes. Delicious served with grilled meats, rich pasta dishes or crusty wood fired pizza.
