Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée 2017 is another stunning release now in it’s second iteration. Made from a blend of 65% Pinot Noir, 18% Chardonnay and 17% Pinot Meunier with stainless steel tank fermentation and 36 months lees-ageing in the bottle before release. Radiant lemon hue in the glass with a nose of fresh red orchard fruits, ginger and zesty tangerine. The palate is immediately inviting with almond’s, honeydew melon and a toasty finish. Rathfinny Estate Classic Cuvée 2017 is a brilliant Sussex Sparkling and a great introduction into the range. A versatile, food-friendly Sparkling that will pair well with cod and chips or simply enjoyed on it’s own!
“This is all about purity of fruit, with notes of red berries and red apple, almost autumnal, but fresh and elegant at the same time. It’s a rounded and gentle wine that would be a great partner for fish and chips.” – 92 Pts, Decanter
