Made from a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc from the famous vineyards of Château Kirwan.

Aromas of blackcurrant, red cherry and ripe plum are accompanied by violet, cedarwood and a delicate suggestion of graphite. The palate is refined and beautifully balanced, with bright berry fruit supported by fine, gently structured tannins and a refreshing line of acidity. Subtle notes of tobacco leaf, dried herbs and sweet spice lend complexity without overwhelming the fruit, while the finish is poised and persistent, with lingering redcurrant and a savoury, mineral edge. The cooler character of the 2021 vintage brings an attractive sense of freshness and restraint, favouring elegance and definition over sheer concentration.
