The second wine of Château Pichon Baron and named after the turrets of the famous castle. 2014 wasn’t a classic year in Bordeaux by any stretch of the imagination. It’s within these slightly dodgy years though that the big guns, like Pichon Baron, really pull out all the stops with their second wines. This is a warm, comforting hug of a Bordeaux with plenty of redcurrant and spice. Super smooth and classical. Pop on a turtleneck, light the fire, pour a glass and settle in for the winter.
