A blend of 95% Syrah and 5% Viognier. This wine, from the the Duclaux brothers, is a classic Côte-Rôtie; it’s fresh and dense with peppery notes, smoke and a long spicy finish. This estate was established in 1928 by Benjamin and David’s grandfather. Production is small (only 3,000 cases) from their 5.8 hectares, but their focus is clearly on quality authenticity.
