Château La Lagune 2000

A benchmark Haut-Médoc from an exceptional vintage. The bouquet is layered with cassis, blackberry and plum, alongside cedar, graphite, tobacco and a touch of leather. The palate is powerful yet refined, with ripe dark fruit, firm but polished tannins and a long, savoury finish. Fully mature, it shows both depth and elegance in equal measure.

Château La Lagune, classified as a Third Growth in 1855, is one of the most highly regarded estates of the southern Médoc. Known for producing wines that balance richness with finesse, the château has a reputation for quality and longevity, with the 2000 vintage standing as one of its finest expressions.
