Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons William Fèvre 2017 Burgundy, France, 75cl
Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons William Fèvre 2017
Burgundy, France, 75cl
Located on the Côte des Vaillons, this appellation has 8 distinct “lieux dits”. This Climat lies at the very western end of the Grands Crus area, at altitudes ranging from 130 to 170 m on fairly deep marl and clay terrain with a southwest exposure. On the palate, this appellation’s wines are often very full and rich. Rich bouquet with intense mineral notes. Full and round on the palate. With a soil base more limestone than clay, sitting on hard, compact Portlandian limestone, it represents all the different types of Chablis terroir under one appellation. Pronounced nose of fruit and flowers, with lovely freshness and a few mineral touches. Generous palate, with lovely roundness.
