Nyetimber 1086 Rosé (complete with the iconic metal label) is the result of Eric Heerema’s unique vision and a celebration of the skills of Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs. A first for English Sparkling Wine, this Prestige Cuvee Rosé is produced entirely from 100% estate-grown fruit, selected parcel-by-parcel.
Aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and redcurrant are layered with rose petal, citrus zest, and delicate pastry notes. On the palate it is refined and complex, showing red berry fruit, blood orange, and spice carried on a silky mousse and underpinned by vibrant acidity. Its soft salmon-pink hue with fine, persistent bubbles reflects both elegance and concentration, while the finish is long, poised, and graceful.
Nyetimber, England’s pioneering sparkling wine estate, created the 1086 prestige cuvée to showcase the finest parcels from exceptional vintages. The 2013 Rosé, made predominantly from Pinot Noir with Chardonnay and Meunier, spent extended years ageing on lees, developing depth and complexity. Combining precision, elegance, and richness, it represents the pinnacle of Nyetimber’s craft — a benchmark English rosé fizz of true luxury and longevity.
