Deep ruby with garnet highlights, Neropasso reveals ripe aromas of black cherry, plum, and dried cranberry, layered with notes of sweet spice, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla. The palate is rich and velvety, offering dark berry compote and hints of raisined fruit, balanced by supple tannins and a rounded, warming finish. A smooth, generous red with a signature Amarone-like intensity, yet softer and more approachable for everyday enjoyment.

Produced by the Biscardo family, whose winemaking roots in Veneto date back to the 19th century, Neropasso is crafted in the appassimento style, using partially dried grapes to concentrate flavour and texture. The name pays homage to the dark-skinned local varieties and the “passo” (or drying) process. Today, the Biscardo brothers carry on their family’s tradition, making wines that bridge classic Venetian character with modern drinkability. Neropasso has become their flagship wine, showcasing the richness of Veneto’s heritage in a contemporary form.
