Alain Gueneau's Sancerre Rosé is a superb example of Sancerre Rosé. Made from 100% hand-harvested Pinot Noir from a tiny two-hectare plot. Delicately pressed to obtain colour and Pinot aromatics, before spending time on lees for structure and body. Showing a spectacular copper-pink in hue, there's delightful florals, rhubarb, fresh apple and red berry fruits, combined with hints of lemon and cream (from the lees-ageing).
