Taste profile
Warm climate Cabernet Sauvignon wines from places like California, Coonawarra and Spain tend to be more fruit forward with blackberry dominant flavours as well as higher alcohol and riper tannins. Those from cooler areas like Bordeaux and Chile have more red fruit flavours and a lighter body.
Cabernet Sauvignon is the most planted wine grape in the world, with over 700,000 acres planted. It thrives all over the world, especially in France, Chile, Australia and USA.
