The Grapevine 46

The Grapevine 46

Is there a more joyous time to the year? Light evenings, a bit of sunshine and the prospect of a few Bank Holidays to look forward to! Did you know that we have a national celebration for our wine industry too? Make sure you’re well stocked for English Wine Week at the end of May into June and don’t forget we’ve got lots of different English wines available in our shops and on our website. We’ve also included the odd parcel or two of ‘once they’re gone they’re gone’ wines like the Sablet and Boroli Barolo. There are some other brilliant wines in here as well as details of three upcoming tutored tastings so if you’re keen to experience the stories behind wine, why not book a ticket or two? Cheers!

An Evening of Malt | Kilchoman Tutored Whisky Tasting | SOLD OUT

Kilchoman Tasting Event

SOLD OUT | 26/09/16

It’s been a while since we’ve hosted an evening of Malt Whisky. And as Colin recently spent a week visiting all the distilleries on Islay he can’t wait to introduce you to the delights of this stunning island. We are delighted to welcome George Wills from the Kilchoman distillery on Islay to guide us through their range. Definitely new kids on the block, having just passed their tenth birthday, they are making waves in the industry with a stunning range of whiskies. From the signature Machir Bay, 100% Islay Malt, Cask Strength and different cask expressions it should be a great night. We are limited to 24 spaces so please call Colin at our Pulborough shop to secure your ticket.

A Taste of Old | Taste Off | Tutored Tasting

Hannah G has been a Hennings team member for fast approaching a year now, so we figured it’s about time we found out what her favourites are! Join Steph and Hannah at our Chichester tasting room for a taste of old, taste off, where they will both be picking a selection of their favourite wines from the old world. Expect bubbles, weird whites, rich reds and everything in between!
