Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill was produced in honour of its most distinguished devotee, as a robust, mature and well-bodied champagne. The wine is deep golden and yellow in colour and offer a continuous trial of lingering bubbles. The elegant nose delivers intense and complex aromas, dominated by enticing notes of dried fruit, biscuit, toasted almonds and honey. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, rich in structure and offers a powerful and refreshing acidity including notes of citrus fruits. During the finish, a remarkable length with creamy notes of butter combined with rich fruitiness of plum and pear is often experienced.
Made from a secret blend that is closely guarded by the Pol Roger family, the majority of grapes included in the Pol Roger Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill Champagne are from the Grand Cru Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards. It is also known to be produced in only the very best vintages, making sure every bottle of Pol Roger Cuvee exudes an unrivalled level of class and sophistication while marking Churchill’s tradition and enjoyment of older wines.
