It’s difficult to express how good rum can be so it’s best not to try and just let Ron Zacapa 23 show you. The first taste will be an epiphany! A blend of rums from six to 23 years old (that have been gently aged at 2.3km above sea level) it’s amazingly rich with honeyed butterscotch, spiced oak and raisined fruit, showcasing the complexity of the sistema solera ageing process. Serve over ice in a heavy tumbler – its smoothness is astonishing and mesmerising!
