Quinta de Sant’Ana’s Late Harvest Riesling is made from botrysis-affected grapes picked from vines located off the coast of Lisbon. The grapes are then de-stemmed and crushed before undergoing cool maceration for three days and then 9 months barrel ageing. Amber gold in colour. The palate is remarkably fresh with a fantastic line of acidity balanced with rich honeyed fruit, limes, apricot and quince jam. The finish is long with a mineral salinity from the cool, coastal climate. Pair with soft cheeses, deserts or on its own.
